Braylen Is Here!!!

Introducing Braylen Ferguson...the first born son of my friends Nicole and Dennis. I was so happy to hear that Nicole had turned down St. Elizabeth's photographer so that she could have me do Braylen's very first photos! Arriving 3 weeks early, he is such a little peanut :) He is 1 week and 1 day old in these photos! Darling, isn't he???

WPPI Contest Winner!

Canvas Complete, a company that prints photos on canvases, held a competition for photographers to submit their images to see who was picked to have their image printed on one of their canvases to be displayed at this years WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention in Las Vegas. So, this photo of mine won! I'm so excited- and I get a 24x36 canvas for free after the convention is over! Woo Hoo! Thank you Stephanie & Tad for being such great models :)

Awaiting Braylen

Nicole and Dennis are long time friends of mine and Aaron (my husband). In fact, it was Nicole that introduced me to Aaron, and well the rest was history :) It was such a great time doing this shoot! They are such an adorable couple and their chemistry is amazing! I can't wait to meet baby Braylen! Only 2 more months!

Shelley & Mickey: December 27, 2008

This had to be the craziest weather day for December of all times- 70 degrees! I was so excited to be able to have outdoor pre-ceremony photos in December, but mother nature had other plans! The wind blown look isn't so hot when you are all dressed up for your wedding day :) Oh, well. Such a laid back couple- it was a fantastic day! The whole bridal party (all 22 of them) were cooperative, easy going, and so fun to work with! Thanks Shelley & Mickey- what great fun I had with you!

K B-Session

It is so much fun to do a boudoir session because they are as empowering for the client as it is for me. However, it is even MORE fun when the subject is a great friend of yours! The two of us, along with a few other girls, had a GNO (Girls Night Out) the night before this session (not the original plan) and both K and I had a few too many drinks :) However, I put my photog. cap on and had a blast doing the shoot even though we were a both a bit hung over :) F.Y.I- Her husband is in the medical field- that is why you see the stethoscope.
